❧ Most people tended not to drink things like caffeine or tea when the weather started to warm up but the faerie could never really get his fill when it came to coffee. The trip to the coffee house was quite the walk but he was perfectly fine with that since it always ended with him curling up on a chair outside the shop sipping on a latte or whatever caffeinated concoction his heart desired.

Unfortunately the walk there wasn’t so simple today. Nisirra kept his violin strapped to his back almost always and today turned out to be the wrong day to keep it with him. On his way out of the woods the case popped open and his violin went tumbling down into a deep crevice. “No!” He flew to the edge of the large laceration in the earth and peered down inside. It was murky and dark but he could see the glinting of the polished wood that composed his instrument. Giving a huff he sat back chewing on his thumb nail furiously as he thought of what to do. With no dominion over earth there was no magic on his side this time.

Edward sighed, he was walking along the sidewalk. He had nothing to do today, he was hoping to do something exiciting but, alas he couldn’t think of anything to do. His only option was to walk around the city to perhaps find something to do along the way. He looked around as he passed by trees and things. He then saw someone not to far from where he was walking. Curiosity got the better of him as he slowed down his pace and slowly approached the male that was there.

❧ After he chewed a good portion of his thumbnail away he spat it out and went back to peering over the edge into the crevice. Nisirra stuck his arm in and tried grabbing at the violin as if it’d do any good but he quickly gave up letting out a ragged sigh, obviously frustrated. He relaxed in the rather awkward position he put himself in just for a second to calm down but caught sight of the stranger coming near him. The faerie shot up off the ground so fast it was criminal.

“Uh..hello,” He waved. “Would you mind helping me?”

~★~ “Alright then,” Setting his tea down the merman took another bite from his cake and rested back into his chair chewing as he thought of a hint to give the other. “Okay..I’m really good at singing.” That counted right? Mermaids were great singers.

“Singing?” Hm, that could certainly be a number of things, and Milos didn’t know a lot about magical beings, besides the fact that he had only met a few. He had to think a bit before picking a guess. “Siren?” Bad guess, bad guess.

~★~ “Close, some distant cousins of mine are sirens.” Crossing one leg over the other he looked over at the genie watching to see if he’d guess right. “Do you want another hint?”
